Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Momo Chef to join our team at Maison Gourmet who specializes in preparing a variety of momo (veg & non-veg), ensuring authentic taste, hygiene, and consistent quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15,000 - ₹20,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Make fillings (veg, chicken, paneer) with consistent taste and quality
Prepare dough, (momo sheeter machine will be provided) shape momo uniformly, and ensure proper portioning
Manage chutneys and sauces (red chutney, mayo-based dips, etc.)
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines
Handle bulk orders and high-volume production efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
Skills Required:
Expertise in momo shaping & stuffing techniques
Knowledge of Indo-Tibetan/Nepali flavors
Speed and efficiency in a high-demand setup
Basic understanding of kitchen operations & hygiene
Qualification:
No formal education required; culinary training is a plus.
