We are looking for a dedicated and versatile Cook cum Caretaker to manage the daily operations and culinary needs of our guesthouse. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual or a family who can provide a "home away from home" experience for our guests through excellent service and high-quality cooking.
1. Culinary Duties
Prepare and serve healthy, delicious Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for guests.
Expertise in a wide range of cuisines including South Indian, North Indian, Veg, and Non-Veg dishes.
Operate and prepare Tandoor items (kebabs, rotis, etc.) as required.
Manage kitchen inventory, grocery shopping, and ensure zero wastage.
Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
2. Guesthouse Management
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs professionally.
Ensure the overall cleanliness of the guesthouse, including common areas and guest rooms.
Coordinate laundry services for bed linens and towels.
Basic maintenance and reporting of any repairs needed on the property.
Experience: Proven experience as a cook in a guesthouse, hotel, or private residence.
Skills: Strong multi-cuisine cooking skills (especially Tandoor), basic housekeeping, and guest relation skills.
Attributes: Trustworthy, polite, and disciplined. Must be able to manage time effectively during peak guest hours.
Suitability: This position is open to single male candidates or a family (where both partners can contribute to cooking and cleaning).
