We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Tandoor Chef to prepare authentic tandoor dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating a tandoor oven and deep knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and cooking techniques.
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor dishes including naan, roti, kulcha, tandoori chicken, kebabs, paneer items, and other grilled specialties
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently
Prepare marinades, doughs, and spice blends according to standardized recipes
Ensure food quality, taste, texture, and presentation meet restaurant standards
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistency
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor area as per food safety standards
Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth kitchen operations
Manage portion control and minimize food wastage
Assist in menu planning and development when required
