Job Title: Dosa Master (South Indian Cook)
Location: Bisi Dose, Ravet, PCMC, Pune
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dosa Master to prepare authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining consistency, speed, quality, and hygiene. The ideal candidate should be experienced in preparing a variety of dosas, idlis, chutneys, sambhar, and other South Indian specialties in a fast-paced QSR environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, and other South Indian dishes as per restaurant recipes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Prepare and maintain chutneys, sambhar, and other accompaniments.
• Monitor batter fermentation and ingredient quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking stations.
• Ensure proper food storage and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the KOT Manager and service team for timely order preparation.
• Follow food safety and restaurant SOPs.
• Assist in stock monitoring and inventory management.
Requirements
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Dosa Master or South Indian Cook.
• Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
