Job Description

Job Title: Continental Chef – Commi 2 (Frozen Food Production Unit)

Location: Krishna Nagar, East Delhi
Department: Production / Kitchen
Reports To: Production Head


Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Continental Commi 2 Chef for a frozen food production unit. The candidate will be responsible for preparing continental food items in bulk, maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and hygiene as per company standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook continental dishes (sauces, fillings, snacks, frozen products) as per standard recipes

  • Assist senior chefs in menu standardization and batch production

  • Handle mise en place – chopping, marination, sauces, and base preparations

  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and quality for mass production

  • Work on frozen food processing – pre-cooking, blast freezing, packaging support

  • Maintain proper food storage (FIFO), labeling, and temperature control

  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines)

  • Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers safely

  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation and production area

  • Assist in inventory management and report shortages

  • Support team in achieving daily production targets


Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months – 2 years  experience in Continental kitchen / frozen food / QSR

  • Basic knowledge of continental cuisine ( sauces  , grills, salads, bakery basics)

  • Experience in bulk cooking / central kitchen / cloud kitchen (preferred)

  • Understanding of food preservation & freezing techniques (added advantage)

  • Ability to work in fast-paced production environment

  • Team player with good coordination skills


Qualification

  • Diploma / Certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts (preferred)

  • Minimum 12th pass


Salary Range (Industry Standard)

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)


Working Conditions

  • Day Shift

  • Production unit / central kitchen environment

  • Standing work with bulk production handling

  • Experience in frozen snacks / momos / rolls / ready-to-eat products

  • Knowledge of standardization for FMCG products
