Reports to: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef / Head Chef
As a Commis Chef (I/II/III) at Theobroma’s Central Kitchen, you will support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality bakery, confectionery, and food items as per the company’s standards. Based on experience and level, you will handle basic to advanced kitchen tasks while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and speed.
Assist in daily food preparation and cooking under guidance of senior chefs.
Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients as per standard recipes.
Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (FSSAI standards).
Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and products.
Support in portioning, packing, and dispatching food for outlets.
Follow SOPs and production plans to meet daily targets.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstation.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork in the kitchen.
Follow instructions from Chef de Partie/Sous Chef.
0–3 years of experience in bakery/pastry/confectionery or hot kitchen (experience level will determine commis grade).
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food prep techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Team player with attention to detail and hygiene.
