Job Summary:
The Commis (Chocolate) is responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of chocolate products. The role requires basic knowledge of chocolate handling, tempering, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of chocolates, truffles, pralines, and other confectionery items
Perform chocolate tempering using standard techniques
Support in molding, filling, garnishing, and finishing chocolate products
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation as per brand standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area as per food safety norms
Follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
Assist in inventory management and proper storage of raw materials
Coordinate with team members to meet daily production targets
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Confectionery / Culinary Arts
Basic knowledge of chocolate making and handling techniques
0–2 years of relevant experience (freshers can also apply)
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude
