Job Title: Commis II – Tandoor
Location: Food Court, Caculo Mall, St. Inez, Panaji, Goa
Experience Required: 1–2 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis II (Tandoor) to join our kitchen team at the food court in Caculo Mall. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tandoor cooking, a passion for Indian cuisine, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of tandoor items such as rotis, naans, kebabs, and tikkas.

• Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of food.

• Prepare marinades, sauces, and mise en place as per recipes.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Support senior chefs and kitchen team during peak hours.

• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.

Requirements & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (Tandoor section preferred).

• Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor techniques.

• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary training or certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or food courts.
