We are hiring skilled Commis I chefs for Indian, Chinese, and Continental sections. The role involves preparing high-quality dishes under the guidance of the Chef de Partie (CDP) and Sous Chef, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and ensuring hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in the assigned section (Indian / Chinese / Continental).
Follow recipes, portion sizes, and standards set by the CDP and Head Chef.
Ensure timely preparation of orders during service.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
Properly store raw materials and cooked food to prevent spoilage.
Minimize wastage and practice FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (tandoor, wok, grill, oven, fryer, etc.) as per the section.
Support banquet and bulk production requirements when needed.
Assist in stock checks and inform seniors about shortages.
Uphold high standards of grooming, discipline, and teamwork.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Commis I in Indian, Chinese, or Continental cuisine.
Strong knowledge of respective section (curries, tandoor, wok cooking, stir-fry, sauces, pasta, grills, etc.).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹21,000 per month.
