Chinese Cook

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chinese Chef to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing authentic Chinese dishes and the ability to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., noodles, fried rice, momos, soups, gravies, starters, etc.)

• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation consistency.

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

• Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for ingredients.

• Supervise kitchen helpers and train junior staff when required.

• Maintain timely food preparation during rush hours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chinese Chef / Cook in a reputed restaurant or hotel.

• Knowledge of various cooking techniques such as stir-fry, deep fry, steaming, and wok cooking.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Punctual, disciplined, and team-oriented attitude.
