Position: Office Cook / North Indian Cook
Location: Chickpet, Bangalore

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, hygienic and skilled Office Cook to prepare fresh, tasty and hygienic North Indian vegetarian meals for our office staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily North Indian vegetarian meals for office staff.

• Make soft Roti, Chapati and Phulka.

• Prepare different types of Sabji, Dal, Rice and other North Indian dishes.

• Prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner meals as required.

• Maintain proper taste, quality and hygiene while cooking.

• Keep the kitchen, utensils and cooking area clean.

• Manage kitchen ingredients and inform management about grocery requirements.

• Avoid food wastage and maintain proper food storage.

• Follow office meal timings and prepare food on time.

Cooking Skills Required

• Roti / Chapati / Phulka – Compulsory

• North Indian Sabji – Compulsory

• Dal / Dal Fry / Dal Tadka

• Rice / Jeera Rice

• Paratha

• Basic North Indian Vegetarian Meals

• Kitchen Hygiene & Cleanliness

• Basic Grocery Management

Candidate Requirements

• North Indian cooking knowledge is compulsory.

• Must know how to prepare daily home-style vegetarian food.

• Should maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene.

• Must be punctual, responsible and hardworking.

• Ability to prepare meals for multiple staff members.

• Experience in office cooking, home cooking, hostel or canteen cooking is preferred.

• Freshers with good practical cooking skills can also apply.

Experience

Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.

Practical cooking skills are more important than educational qualifications.

Salary

Based on cooking skills, experience and interview performance.
