Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The candidate should have expertise in preparing authentic North Indian, South Indian, and Tandoor dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes as per menu standards
Ensure taste, quality, and presentation of food is maintained consistently
Manage kitchen operations during shifts efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
Monitor food stock and assist in inventory management
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth daily operations
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items
Follow company recipes, SOPs, and food safety guidelines
Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs
Requirements
Proven experience as an Indian Chef in hotels, restaurants, or cloud kitchens
Good knowledge of Indian cuisine including curries, tandoor, gravy, and regional dishes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
Flexibility to work in rotational shifts
Preferred Skills
Expertise in North Indian/Tandoor section
Creativity in menu planning and food presentation
Ability to handle bulk cooking operations
