prepares and serves coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while delivering warm customer service and keeping the cafe clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation: Craft espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and blended beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and handle special dietary requests or customizations.
Cash & POS Handling: Process payments using point-of-sale (POS) systems, manage cash drawers, and issue receipts.
Cleanliness & Maintenance: Wipe down counters, clean espresso machines, grinders, and milk frothers, and maintain a tidy guest seating area.
Restock & Inventory: Monitor and restock coffee beans, cups, lids, milks, syrups, and pastry display cases throughout the shift.
Opening & Closing Duties: Calibrate grinders in the morning, set up or break down equipment, and complete daily closing checklists.
