* Hands‑on experience in bakery, pastry, chocolate, confectionery, or general baking.
* Good knife skills, basic baking techniques, and familiarity with bakery equipment.
* Ability to work fast in a team, follow recipes, and maintain consistency.
* No formal graduation required; practical experience valued.
* Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends during peak demand.
Key responsibilities*
* Prepare bakery & pastry items to recipe standards; follow portioning and plating guidelines.
* Operate basic bakery equipment; monitor oven temps and baking times.
* Maintain strict food safety, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
* Ensure proper storage, FIFO rotation and labeling of ingredients.
* Assist in mise en place, ingredient prep, and daily production planning.
* Support quality checks, packaging and handover to packing/dispatch teams.
* Follow instructions from senior chefs and help train juniors when required.
