Bakery Chef
Requirements:
Prepare, bake, and present a wide range of bakery and confectionery products including Breads, Bread Rolls, Cookies, Cakes, Pastries, Bun, Puffs, Croissants, Pizzas, Chocolates and various hot & cold Desserts
Monitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of all bakery items.
Operate baking equipment like ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
Assist in new dessert development and menu innovation.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Bakery/Patisserie or Culinary Arts
Professional certification in Pastry or Bakery desirable
Strong knowledge of bakery and confectionery techniques, ingredients and equipment.
Experience in preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.
Strong hands-on skills in sponge making, baking, whipping, finishing, and frozen systems
Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
