Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
Source electronic components, ICs, LED Driver components, PCB-related materials, electrical components and manufacturing materials.
Develop and maintain reliable local, national, China and international supplier networks.
Identify new vendors and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, capacity and delivery.
Negotiate price, MOQ, payment terms, lead time and delivery schedules.
Manage purchase orders, quotations, purchase planning and supplier follow-ups.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Accounts and Management for material requirements.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, quality issues, shortages, delays and replacement requirements.
Handle import purchases and international procurement, including China sourcing and coordination with logistics/customs teams.
Track market prices, component availability, alternate sources and new suppliers.
Maintain proper purchase records, vendor data, quotations and procurement reports.
Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare regular purchase, pending order, supplier and procurement MIS reports.
Resolve supplier and material-related issues to ensure smooth production.
