Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning

Understand project requirements (cables, switchgear, panels, etc.)

Prepare purchase plans based on demand and timelines

Vendor Management

Identify and evaluate suppliers of electrical items

Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts

Maintain relationships with reliable vendors

Purchase Process

Create and process purchase orders (POs)

Ensure timely delivery of materials

Track orders and resolve delays

Technical Coordination

Work with electrical engineers to ensure correct specifications

Verify quality and compliance with standards

Cost Control

Compare quotations and finalize cost-effective deals

Monitor budgets and reduce procurement costs

Inventory Coordination

Coordinate with stores/warehouse team

Ensure optimal stock levels (avoid shortage or overstocking)

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain purchase records, invoices, contracts

Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements

Required Skills

Knowledge of electrical products (wires, circuit breakers, etc.)
