Purchase Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vendor management, negotiations, and purchase processes within a manufacturing or engineering setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Request and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement.

• Create and process purchase orders as per company requirements.

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and other items for production.

• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

• Maintain updated records of suppliers, purchase orders, and contracts.

• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and production departments for smooth material flow.

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery or quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to purchase activities.
  

Requirements:

• Graduate or Diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement / Mechanical / Commerce.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in purchasing (preferably in manufacturing industry).

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of ERP or procurement software (SAP / Tally / Oracle preferred).

• Excellent follow-up and coordination abilities.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 4 - 5 years of experience.
