Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing
  – Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for fire safety equipment (extinguishers, alarms, suppression systems, sprinklers, etc.) simplyhired.co.in+5simplyhired.co.in+5in.indeed.com+5in.indeed.com
  – Collect quotes, negotiate prices and contractual terms for optimal cost savings

• Purchase Orders & Documentation
  – Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs), delivery notes, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and project alignment simplyhired.co.in

• Inventory & Vendor Management
  – Track stock levels to ensure uninterrupted project flow and coordinate with warehouse teams
  – Maintain strong relationships with vendors and evaluate performance regularly

• Cost Control & Budgeting
  – Work within the defined budget and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities

• Quality & Compliance
  – Ensure all procured items meet applicable safety regulations and industry standards
  – Collaborate with Quality Control & engineering teams to verify product compliance

• Cross-functional Coordination
  – Liaise with project managers, engineers, and field tech teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines simplyhired.co.in
  – Support tender/bid preparations and process optimization

🎓 Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech (Engineering graduate mandatory)

• Experience: Minimum 4 years in purchasing or procurement—preferably in fire safety, engineering, construction, or related sectors

🛠️ Skills & Competencies

• Proven negotiation & supplier management

• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-orientation

• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel; experience with procurement systems/ERP is a plus

• Familiar with fire safety equipment, standards, and technical specs

• Excellent verbal and written communication, comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders
