Job Summary: We are looking for a smart, organized, and tech-friendly Purchase Executive to manage our procurement operations. You will be responsible for handling a vast catalog of 300 to 400 products and managing day-to-day coordination with our 50 to 60 key vendors across Delhi and NCR. Since we share excellent relations with our vendors, your primary focus will be to maintain this goodwill while ensuring 100% on-time material delivery and seamless inventory flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for 50-60 local vendors. Maintain polite, professional, and strong relationships.
Inventory & Order Management: Track stock levels for 300-400 SKUs daily. Raise accurate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely dispatch to avoid stock-outs.
Follow-ups: Rigorously follow up with vendors for timely deliveries, ensuring the warehouse receives materials exactly as scheduled.
Quality & Return Handling: Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage defective items and process returns/replacements smoothly with vendors.
Data Entry & Software Management: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and stock levels using MS Excel and ERP tools.
Required Skills & Software Expertise:
Software Skills: Must have strong hands-on experience with Advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) for managing large SKU data.
Accounting/ERP: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Tally Prime (for PO generation and vendor ledger checking) is highly preferred.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication (Hindi & English) to negotiate and get work done smoothly without spoiling vendor relations.
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to handling delayed deliveries or sudden stock shortages.
