• Procurement Planning:

  • Squad up with project engineers to lock in precise specs and timelines.

  • Build procurement calendars so nothing goes MIA.

• Vendor Management:

  • Hunt down and vet vendors for pumps, membranes, valves, reactors & treatment chemicals.

  • Negotiate rates, SLAs, payment terms.

  • Keep supplier relationships 100 so deliveries never ghost us.

• Order & Inventory Flow:

  • Raise POs, follow up on ETAs, and troubleshoot any delivery drama.

  • Team up with the stores crew to log receipts, track stock levels, and avoid downtime.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Liaise with QA/QC to inspect incoming materials (no half-baked stuff allowed).

  • Ensure all procured items meet environmental, safety & company standards.

• Cost Hustle:

  • Monitor market trends for bulk-buy discounts, alternative suppliers, or material substitutions.

  • Push for cost optimizations—without sacrificing quality or timelines.

• Reporting:

  • Drop weekly/monthly procurement dashboards: spend vs. budget, vendor KPIs, lead-time analysis.
