Job Description

Job Title: Office Manager & Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Office Executive to join our dynamic team in a stone wall cladding showroom. This role is a combination of administrative management and sales, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while actively engaging with clients to drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, excellent customer service skills, and experience in sales—preferably within the stone, tile, or construction industry in India.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Management Duties:

  • Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining records.

  • Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.

  • Coordinate ordering and tracking project status and deliveries.

  • Maintain financial records, process payments, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.

  • Liaise factory and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.

  • Implement and oversee office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with local business regulations and tax requirements in India.

  • Schedule meetings and booking for the management as required.

  • Research and negotiate with various vendors based on the requirement posed by the management.

 

Consultation & Customer Service Duties:

  • Greet and assist customers in selecting products that meet their project needs.

  • Provide detailed product information, including material types, finishes, and applications.

  • Prepare and present quotes, process orders, and follow up with clients.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with walk-in clients.

  • Assist with online inquiries and social media engagement to generate leads.

  • Be able to make cold calls as required in most professional manner.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new product offerings, including Indian and imported stone varieties.

  • Assist in showroom displays, ensuring samples and presentations are appealing and up to date.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by providing excellent service and product knowledge.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Good command of English, Hindi and Gujarati

  • Previous experience in office management, sales, or customer service (experience in stone, tile, or construction industry preferred).

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and regional languages.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with Indian market trends in stone and tile.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Sales-driven mindset with a passion for interior design and home improvement.

  • Basic understanding of inventory management and bookkeeping.

  • Ability to lift product samples and assist with minor showroom maintenance.
