The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in various computer systems and databases. Enter and update data into databases and systems accurately and efficiently.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Maintain and update customer or client records.
Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any incompatibilities.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
Ensure data security and confidentiality.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data-related issues.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk, typist, or relevant office experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
