Key Responsibilities
Enter patient registration, demographic, laboratory, and billing data into the system accurately.
Verify patient information and ensure all records are complete and error-free.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and update patient information as required.
Process laboratory test requests and ensure accurate data entry of test details.
Coordinate with front desk, laboratory, billing, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies.
Scan, upload, and organize patient documents and reports.
Generate reports and maintain daily data entry logs.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information and comply with healthcare data privacy policies.
Perform regular quality checks to maintain data accuracy.
Complete assigned tasks within defined turnaround times.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
0–2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a hospital, diagnostic laboratory, or healthcare organization.
Freshers with excellent typing and computer skills are also encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and healthcare software (HIS/LIS/EMR) is an advantage.
Good typing speed with high accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
