We are looking for an energetic and responsible Accountant for our finance team, with 1 to 3 years of practical accounting experience. You should have a good understanding of day-to-day accounting, Tally entries, GST/TDS filings, and daily billing & reconciliation. We are seeking a candidate who delivers accurate work and can manage deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities (Your Role & Work):
Daily Accounting: Accurately record daily sales, purchase, payment, and receipt entries in Tally / Accounting Software.
Banking & Cash: Reconcile daily bank and cash accounts and match entries.
Taxation & Compliance:
Prepare data and handle basic filing for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
Maintain tracking of TDS calculation, deduction, and quarterly returns.
Invoicing & Billing: Timely process party bills, sales invoices, and vendor payments.
Vendor & Customer Ledger: Regularly reconcile debtors' and creditors' accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
Monthly Closing: Assist senior accountants / CAs in month-end audit and management balance sheet balancing.
Voucher & Documentation: Maintain proper filing/folders for all invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: B.Com / M.Com or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the accounting field.
Software Skills:
Good knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 is mandatory.
Basic to Intermediate MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas).
Taxation Knowledge: Practical understanding of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax rules.
Skills: Accuracy with figures, basic communication skills, and good team coordination habits.
