Data Entry Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) into accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).

• Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other financial records.

• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in matching entries.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data before entry.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• File and organize financial documents and records physically or digitally.

• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and follow up on discrepancies.

• Assist in generating invoices and tracking payments.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve data-related issues.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company data.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

• 1–2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting or finance setting.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GST, TDS, and invoice management.

• Ability to handle high volumes of data efficiently.

• Familiarity with audit documentation requirements.
