Key Roles and Responsibilities
The primary objective of this role is to handle the legal and administrative documentation required for road legality.
Documentation Management:
KYC Collection: Collecting and verifying essential customer documents, including ID proof, address proof, and the mandatory insurance policy.
Forms Processing: Preparing and managing official RTO forms, such as Form 20 (Application for Registration) and Form 21 (Sale Certificate).
Invoicing: Ensuring sales invoices are correctly generated and matched with vehicle technical specifications like motor and chassis numbers.
RTO Liaison & Application:
Portal Submission: Submitting all gathered documents and forms via the online RTO portal on the customer's behalf.
Coordination: Acting as the point of contact between the dealership and RTO authorities to resolve discrepancies or issues during verification.
HSRP Coordination: Facilitating the issuance of the High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP), which for Ather scooters features a green background to signify a zero-emission vehicle.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date digital and physical records of all registrations, renewals, or cancellations.
Payment Collection: Assisting in the oversight of payment collections related to registration fees and taxes to ensure high customer satisfaction during delivery.
Reporting: Preparing periodic reports for management regarding the status of pending registrations and operational efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge: Deep understanding of local RTO regulations, electric vehicle (EV) specific registration rules, and documentation standards.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using the Vahan Portal and MS Office Suite (specifically Excel) for tracking.
Attributes: High attention to detail and strong time management skills to meet delivery timelines
