Backend Operations Executive – Stock Market Operations

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Backend Operations Executive to support our growing operations team and ensure seamless execution of day-to-day business processes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Backend Operations Executive with 6 months to 1 year of experience in the stock market or financial services industry. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of client onboarding, Demat account processing, regulatory documentation, and backend operational activities. This role requires accuracy, compliance, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, brokers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end backend operations related to client onboarding and stock market services.

  • Process Demat account opening, modification, re-KYC, and account closure requests through online and offline channels.

  • Verify KYC documents and ensure compliance with SEBI, Exchange, and Depository guidelines.

  • Coordinate with brokers, Depository Participants (DPs), and internal teams for timely account activation and issue resolution.

  • Maintain accurate client records, operational documents, and transaction reports.

  • Assist clients with basic operational queries and ensure timely resolution of service requests.

  • Support account maintenance activities, including nominee updates, bank modifications, and profile changes.

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining operational MIS reports and documentation.

  • Support finance-related activities, including basic accounting, invoice processing, GST, TDS, and taxation documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of operational processes.

  • Monitor operational timelines and ensure adherence to internal SLAs and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in Stock Market Operations, Financial Services, Broking, Wealth Management, or Investment Advisory.

  • Basic understanding of Equity Markets, Demat Accounts, Trading Accounts, and Depository Processes.

  • Familiarity with KYC documentation and client onboarding procedures.

  • Basic knowledge of Accounts, GST, TDS, and taxation concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.

  • Experience working with broker back-office systems will be an added advantage.
