The Interior Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site execution of interior design and architectural projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications and quality standards. This role bridges the gap between designers, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day interior work at project sites
Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, BOQs, and design intent
Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, vendors, and clients
Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion
Inspect materials and workmanship for quality control
Manage site labor and subcontractors
Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations
Track project progress and prepare regular reports
Resolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions
Verify measurements and quantities for billing and procurement
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering
2–5+ years of experience in interior site supervision
Strong understanding of construction methods and interior materials
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts
Good communication and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar drafting software)
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
Experience in residential/commercial interior projects
Knowledge of modular furniture, carpentry, electrical, and finishing work
Familiarity with project management tools
Vendor and material sourcing experience
