Senior Architect

A Senior Architect leads architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and timely delivery. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing all phases of design and construction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and development of architectural projects

2. Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and project documentation

3. Guide and mentor junior architects and design teams

4. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants

5. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards

6. Manage client relationships and present design proposals

7. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources

8. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve issues

9. Approve material selections and technical details

10. Use advanced tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for design and coordination

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

2. Registered Architect (as per local council requirements, e.g., Council of Architecture in India)

3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing

4. In-depth understanding of building codes and approval processes

5. Proficiency in architectural and BIM software

9. Excellent communication and client-handling skills

10. Experience with rendering tools like Lumion or V-Ray
