We are seeking an detail-oriented Interior Designer who has experience in concept design and space planning. The ideal candidate will be able to develop functional and visually appealing interior solutions for both residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts that align with client needs, budget and project goals.
- Prepare concept boards, mood boards and material palettes to support design ideas.
- Create space plans and furniture layouts along with early-stage design concepts.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and turn it into designs.
- Build and present design concepts clearly to clients ensuring their ideas are communicated effectively.
- Collaborate with the Sales team 3D Designers, Architects and Project Execution teams.
- Choose materials, finishes, furniture, colors and accessories for each project.
- Incorporate client feedback and make design updates as needed.
- Make sure all designs meet project specifications, deadlines and quality standards.
- Visit project sites when necessary to assess conditions and refine design requirements.
- Keep project records and ensure all design deliverables are submitted on time.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of design principles, space planning, materials and finishes.
- Experience in both residential and commercial interior design projects.
- Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop or similar software.
- Strong creative thinking and the ability to visualize design concepts clearly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to listen to clients and confidently share design ideas.
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
- 2 To 5 years of proven experience in design with a focus on concept design.
- Applicants, with a portfolio showing concept development and space planning are preferred.
