Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent project management skills, and the ability to translate client needs into aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing interior design projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their design goals, preferences, and budget.

• Develop creative and functional design concepts aligned with client needs and project requirements.

• Prepare detailed interior design plans, including space planning, color schemes, materials, furniture, and lighting layouts.

• Create mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D drawings, and presentations using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite).

• Source and select furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and materials.

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure all design work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

• Oversee installation and execution of the design plan and ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role.

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Adobe Suite, etc.).

• Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.

• Excellent creativity, visualization, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Knowledge of sustainable and universal design practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification or membership in a recognized design association.

• Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality design.

• Knowledge of local building codes and interior design regulations.
