Civil draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design:
  Create, modify, and revise civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring they meet project specifications, codes, and standards.

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with civil engineers, surveyors, and other project stakeholders to gather design data and ensure that drawings align with project requirements and deadlines.

• Preparation of Construction Documents:
  Assist in the development of detailed construction plans, profiles, and cross-section drawings for civil projects.

• Site Plans and Layouts:
  Draft detailed site plans, grading plans, stormwater management plans, and other civil-related layouts.

• Quality Control:
  Review and verify designs to ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

• File Management:
  Organize and maintain accurate CAD files, ensuring proper version control and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Revisions and Updates:
  Update existing designs based on feedback or changes in project scope. Ensure timely revision of drawings and documentation.

• Technical Support:
  Provide technical support to project teams by clarifying drawing discrepancies and assisting with any drafting-related queries.
