AutoCAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer with specialized experience in fire safety systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed fire safety system drawings using AutoCAD and ensuring compliance with national and international fire safety codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for fire protection systems such as fire sprinklers, fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and emergency exit plans using AutoCAD.

• Interpret MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings and integrate fire safety system layouts accordingly.

• Work closely with project engineers and fire safety consultants to develop design concepts and implement feedback.

• Update and revise drawings as per site changes, markups, and inspection reports.

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients for design approvals and modifications.

• Assist in preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and technical submittals for fire safety systems.

• Maintain version control and drawing documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is a plus).

• Understanding of fire safety design principles and layout standards.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
