Architect

Client Coordination

• Understand client requirements, budget, and project expectations.

• Conduct discussions to finalize space planning and design concepts.

• Present design options, layouts, and 3D views to clients.

• Obtain client approvals for drawings and modifications.

2. Architectural Design

• Prepare conceptual designs and detailed architectural drawings.

• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.

• Ensure functionality, aesthetics, and efficient space utilization.

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using design software.

3. Drawing Preparation

• Prepare:

  • Architectural drawings

  • Working drawings

  • Interior layout drawings

  • Elevation drawings

  • Electrical and plumbing layouts

  • Furniture and modular kitchen layouts

• Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants.

4. Approval and Compliance

• Ensure drawings comply with local building rules and regulations.

• Coordinate for:

  • CMDA / DTCP approvals

  • Building permits

  • Government approvals

• Ensure setback, height, FAR/FSI, and other statutory requirements are followed.

5. Site Coordination

• Visit construction sites periodically.

• Explain drawings and specifications to site engineers.

• Resolve design-related issues during execution.

• Verify construction work matches approved drawings.

6. Material Selection

• Assist clients in selecting:

  • Tiles

  • Doors and windows

  • Paint colors

  • Sanitary fittings

  • Electrical fixtures

  • Interior materials

• Ensure material quality and design consistency.

7. Quantity and Cost Coordination

• Assist in preparing:

  • BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

  • Material quantities

  • Cost estimates

• Coordinate with procurement and project teams.

8. Consultant Coordination

• Coordinate with:

  • Structural Engineers

  • MEP Consultants

  • Interior Designers

  • Site Engineers

  • Project Managers

• Ensure all drawings are integrated without conflicts.

9. Quality and Safety

• Ensure construction quality meets design standards.

• Recommend corrective actions for deviations.

• Follow safety standards and industry best practices.

10. Project Handover

• Conduct final inspections.

• Prepare as-built drawings.

• Verify completion of all architectural works.

• Support project handover to the client.
