2D/3D Interior Designer

Responsibilities:

Design & Visualization:

• Develop detailed 2D drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, and construction details for commercial interior projects.

• Translate 2D concepts into high-quality 3D models, photorealistic renders, and walkthroughs using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion.

• Support design presentations by producing mood boards, 3D perspectives, and visual storytelling that align with client branding and design goals.

• Understand and apply commercial interior design trends, materials, finishes, and space utilization principles.

Project Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive drawing sets for client approval and execution, including electrical, ceiling, flooring, and MEP coordination layouts.

• Create accurate BOQs, material specifications, and basic cost estimates under the guidance of senior team members.

• Maintain organized project documentation, revision logs, and file management systems.

Collaboration & Execution:

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site supervisors to ensure accurate implementation of design on-site.

• Participate in site visits for measurements, design validation, and progress review.

• Incorporate feedback from clients and project leads to revise 2D/3D drawings and renders as needed.

• Work efficiently on multiple commercial projects, ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.

Technical & Software Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and rendering engines like V-Ray or Lumion.

• Basic understanding of construction techniques, interior fit-out processes, and commercial space planning standards.
