Industry: Commercial Interior Design

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Commercial Interior Designer who will be responsible for designing and developing interior spaces for commercial projects such as offices, retail stores, showrooms, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial establishments. The candidate should have strong design skills and the ability to manage projects from concept development to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client requirements, project brief, and design objectives.
Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for commercial projects.
Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, ceiling plans, flooring plans, and detailed drawings.
Create 3D models and realistic renders as required.
Prepare mood boards, material boards, color schemes, and design presentations.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and other design elements.
Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct site visits and ensure design implementation as per approved drawings.
Prepare working drawings and detailed design documentation.
Coordinate with the execution team to resolve design-related issues at the site.
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Assist in material selection, BOQ, and estimation as required.
Ensure projects are delivered within the required quality, timeline, and budget.
Stay updated with current commercial interior design trends, materials, and technologies.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of commercial interior design and space planning.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, Photoshop, or similar design software.
Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction details.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of site execution and coordination will be an advantage.
