Analyze data and prepare work papers based on professional standards · Determine the accuracy/completeness of the compliance product, perform quality assurance procedures, and prepare the product for delivery · Help High net worth (HNI) or partnership clients meet their state and federal tax obligations. This include examining financial records - such as income statements and expenditure documentation - to determine clients’ obligations, collaborating with colleagues to prepare tax returns, and filing appropriate paperwork, all the while providing excellent customer service. · Assist professionals in using technological tools. · Collects, assimilates, and analyzes data and uses standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions in the Tax business. · Develops knowledge of current tax legislation across US Individual, partnership, estate and gift tax. · Prepares tax provisions using technical skills to accurately complete calculations and follow Firm policies and procedures. · Recognizes the key capabilities required to deliver a high-quality service experience to the client. · Demonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent. This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications · Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance · Aspiring towards a CPA or Enrolled Agent designation will be an added advantage Mandatory technical & functional skills · Understanding of US tax and regulation; any US tax related experience will be an added advantage · Ability to analyze basic tax and accounting information Preferred technical & functional skills • Knowledge on Financial Services sector from US tax perspective is an added advantage. • An awareness of and an interest in the US political and economic environment.
