Statutory Reporting Lead Job Description Summary Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements. This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable. Responsible for managing and liaising with in‑country statutory auditors to ensure timely submission of all PBC (Prepared‑By‑Client) documentation. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Acts as a mentor and managing small team with less experience. May lead projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. Partner with various teams to develop and execute project plans, including tracking project milestones, identifying key stakeholders, integrating the dependencies and monitoring the timeline. Work with the global process leads to define and monitor adherence to the GEHC standard Statutory processes and support gap analysis effort as required. Help to develop projects to close gaps as necessary through partnership. Other ad hoc projects assigned by manager. Build and leverage strong cross functional relationships both in the Statutory teams, and other supporting function teams, BPO teams, business finance and operational leaders in the business as well as other teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance or other business-related field and minimum of 7 years progressive accounting or finance experience. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) preferred.
