Position Title: Senior Accountant (TMS Payroll)

Location: Mulund Mumbai

Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce or related field preferred

Experience Required: 8+ Years

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting cycle for our internal operations. This role involves hands-on work in bookkeeping, taxation (GST & TDS), account finalisation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Indian accounting standards and taxation laws and will be comfortable using Tally ERP/Prime and Excel. The role also requires close coordination with auditors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•         Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy

•         Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.) in a timely manner

•         Ensure TDS compliance – deduction, payment, and quarterly return filing

•         Finalise accounts and prepare financial statements for different entity types (Proprietorship, Partnership, Pvt. Ltd.)

•         Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and ensure full compliance

•         Maintain ledgers, perform bank and account reconciliations, and generate MIS reports

•         Proficiently use Tally ERP/Prime and Excel for all accounting functions

Key skills –

•         Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and the Companies Act

•         Excellent analytical and organizational abilities

•         Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel

•         Good Communication skills

•         Proficient in English and Hindi
