Ltd.Position: Senior AccountantDepartment: Accounts & FinanceReporting To: Finance Manager / DirectorJob Type: Full-Time *Summary* The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, financial reporting, and supporting management with accurate financial data. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance applicable to construction and project-based companies.*Key Responsibilities** Accounting & Finance* Maintain books of accounts including cash, bank, ledger, and journal entries* Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts* Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements* Monitor project-wise costing, expenses, and profitability* Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts* Taxation & Compliance* Handle GST compliance including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)* Ensure timely TDS deduction, payment, and filing of returns* Support Income Tax filings and assessments* Ensure statutory compliance under Companies Act, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws* Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities* Payroll & Vendor Management* Oversee payroll processing, salary sheets, and statutory deductions* Manage vendor payments, invoices, and ageing reports* Ensure timely payment to suppliers and subcontractors** MIS & Reporting** Prepare MIS reports for management review* Analyze financial data and highlight cost-saving opportunities* Assist in budgeting and financial planning** Required Skills & Competencies** Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Indian Taxation* Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP software* Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reports)* Attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines* Good communication and coordination skills*Qualifications** B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)* Minimum 5–8 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in construction / engineering / project-based companies*Preferred Experience** Experience in construction billing, project accounting, and site expenses* Handling audits and statutory filings independently
