Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GST & Income Tax Senior Accountant to manage indirect and direct tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, and advisory functions. The ideal candidate will ensure full statutory compliance, minimize tax risks, and support financial accuracy in line with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance & Management

• Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)

• GST reconciliation with books of accounts (sales, purchases, ITC)

• Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification and optimization

• Handling GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices

• Managing e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance

• Coordination with consultants and tax authorities when required

Income Tax Compliance

• Preparation and filing of corporate/firm/individual income tax returns

• Computation of advance tax and TDS compliance

• Handling TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)

• Tax audit coordination and documentation support

• Responding to income tax notices and scrutiny cases

• Ensuring compliance with changes in tax laws and regulations

Accounting & Reporting

• Ledger scrutiny and tax-related reconciliations

• Provisioning for tax liabilities in financial statements

• Supporting statutory audits and internal audits

• Assisting in finalization of books of accounts

• MIS reporting related to tax exposure and compliance status

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
