HOD – ACCOUNTS & FINANCEJob Summary:The Account Head is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and provides strategic financial insights to support business decisions.Key Responsibilities:1.Financial Management & ReportingOversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and taxation.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.2.Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.Manage tax compliance including GST, income tax, TDS, and other statutory filings.Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.3.Internal Controls & Risk ManagementDevelop and maintain effective internal control systems.Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Ensure proper documentation and financial governance.4.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team.Allocate tasks, review work, and ensure team efficiency.Conduct performance reviews and support skill development.5.Strategic SupportProvide financial insights and analysis to senior management.Support business planning, cost control, and profitability improvement.Assist in financial decision-making, investments, and cash flow management.Key Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.8–12+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with leadership exposure.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Accuracy and timeliness of financial reportsAudit observations and compliance statusCost control and budget adherenceTeam productivity and effectivenessCash flow and working capital managementJob SummaryDesignation HOD – ACCOUNTS & FINANCEDepartment ACCOUNTSLocation Pandesara G.I.D.C.Experience Level 8 - 12 Yearsmake a poster according to this profile job location pandesara gidc salary range 12lpa job timing 10 am to 8 pm
