Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts for real estate projects

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, JV, Expenses, Bank, Cash)

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts

• Manage project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and budget monitoring

• Handle GST compliance – returns, reconciliation, and notices

• Ensure TDS deductions, returns, and compliance

• Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants

• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries

• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers

• Monitor receivables, payables, and fund flow

• Assist in statutory audits and internal audits

• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory laws

• Maintain proper documentation and records for all transactions

• prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO’s attention

• Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team

• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits

• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
