Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to lead the company’s finance operations. The role involves managing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls while supporting management with financial insights and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Reporting

• Lead overall finance and accounting operations of the company.

• Prepare and review financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Monthly MIS reports.

• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and budgeting processes.

• Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to management.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and statutory audit requirements.

• Oversee statutory filings and maintain proper financial documentation.

• Coordinate with external auditors, Chartered Accountants, and consultants.

Financial Controls & Process Management

• Develop and implement SOPs for finance and accounting processes.

• Establish internal controls for billing, payments, and vendor management.

• Approve major payments, vendor onboarding, and credit terms.

Team Management

• Supervise and guide Finance Executives and interns.

• Review financial entries and ensure accuracy in accounting records.

• Train team members on finance processes, Tally, and statutory compliance.

Business & Strategic Support

• Support leadership with financial planning and forecasting.

• Provide insights on pricing, costing, margins, and profitability.

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to evaluate financial feasibility of projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter preferred).

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in financial records.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 5 - 6+ years Experience.
