ob Description – Senior MIS Executive

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior MIS Executive with advanced expertise in Google Sheets, automation, and scripting to manage, analyze, and automate our business reporting systems. The ideal candidate should be skilled in formulas, data analysis, and Google Apps Script (JavaScript) to build automated dashboards, reports, and lightweight web applications that enhance decision-making and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize MIS dashboards and reports in Google Sheets.

• Build automated workflows using Google Apps Script (JavaScript) for data entry, validation, email triggers, and reporting.

• Develop custom web-based tools integrated with Google Sheets for tracking and process management.

• Apply advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, QUERY, and ARRAYFORMULA to analyze and process large data sets.

• Create data visualization dashboards for management reporting.

• Ensure data accuracy, standardization, and integrity across all MIS systems.

• Automate repetitive tasks to improve team productivity.

• Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and design reporting solutions.

• Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Google Sheets (Advanced Level): Complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning, Data Validation.

• Google Apps Script (JavaScript): Automation, custom functions, workflow design, and web app development.

• Formulas Expertise: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to handle large datasets, build dashboards, and generate insights.

• Basic Web Application Development using Google Sheets + Apps Script integration.

• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.

• Good communication skills to translate requirements into actionable MIS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in MIS, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence.

• Prior experience in automating business processes using Google Workspace.

• Knowledge of database integration / APIs is a plus.

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
