Financial Audit and Accounting Consultant

Consultant SFS- KDNI Roles & responsibilities Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Possess knowledge and understanding for statutory accounts and Audit or compliance requirements for Netherlands, India or other country. • Preparation of Financial statement including preparing of underlying workpapers, working schedules and other supporting documentation. • Review and analyse financial data, adjusting entries as needed to comply with GAAP. • To provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards. • Preparing of financial statements under Dutch GAAP and IFRS. • Preparing Reporting GAAP to Local conversion. • Training junior staff in preparation and performing audit procedures. • Proactively interact with the internal and onshore engagement team to gather information and resolve problems related to compilation work. • Lead the conversations with the client and onshore teams on the engagements. Mandatory technical & functional skills • Ability to research, read, comprehend and critically examine accounting standards and tax pronouncements in order to have an informed point of view is a MUST • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment. • Working knowledge of Audit methodology, materiality concept and audit documentation. Educational qualifications • CA / CPA / ACCA with 2+ years of exp • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Work experience • Post qualification financial audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm or similar organization. • Experience of working with Compilation work in Netherlands, Australia or other country. • Must have post qualification experience in audit field in any of the renowned audit firms. • Experience working on tools like Caseware, audit tools.
