We are looking for an Finance / Accounts to join our team. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualification

• B.Com (Mandatory)

• M.Com or CA Inter will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in the Jewellery Industry (Retail or Manufacturing).

• Hands-on experience in jewellery accounting, inventory accounting, and GST compliance.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our jewellery business. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling gold, diamond, and precious metal inventory accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

• Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

• Manage jewellery inventory accounting, including gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, and stock reconciliation.

• Perform daily cash, bank, and POS reconciliation.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and ensure timely compliance.

• Reconcile customer, vendor, and bank accounts.

• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing.

• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and profitability reports.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants.

• Verify making charges, wastage calculations, hallmark charges, and inventory valuation.

• Support physical stock audits and investigate inventory variances.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial records.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP.

• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).

• Understanding of jewellery inventory management and valuation.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• High level of accuracy and integrity.

Job Requirements:

A perfect candidate for this role should have a keen eye for numerical accuracy. The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 5 years of experience. Applicants must have knowledge about accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
