Counter Billing Executive

Billing Executive is responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, maintaining billing records, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments. The role involves coordinating with customers and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and process invoices, bills, and credit notes accurately.

Verify billing data and ensure compliance with company policies.

Maintain customer accounts and update billing records.

Follow up on outstanding payments and assist in collections.

Resolve billing queries and discrepancies promptly.

Reconcile billing statements with payments received.

Prepare billing reports and maintain documentation.

Coordinate with the accounts, sales, and customer service teams.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of billing procedures and accounting principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Good communication and customer service abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role is preferred.

Objective:

To ensure accurate billing operations, timely collection of payments, and efficient maintenance of financial records while providing excellent support to customers and internal teams.
