Job Description: CPC Surprise Audit Co-ordinator
Role Overview The CPC Surprise Audit Co-ordinator is responsible for executing and managing quarterly compliance audits across 126 Credit Processing Centers (CPCs). The primary objective is to safeguard customer data privacy and ensure that internal control frameworks are strictly followed by sales personnel. This role involves conducting unannounced on-site inspections to identify potential data leakage, unauthorized financial transactions, or procedural lapses.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution & Strategy:
Conduct unannounced, surprise audits at CPC locations nationwide without prior notice to local staff or management.
Maintain a "low profile" observation phase upon arrival before formally identifying as an auditor to capture authentic operational behaviour’s.
Ensure that once the audit is initiated, no personnel leave the premises until the process is concluded.
Compliance & Technical Verification:
Execute a standardized 18-checkpoint checklist, focusing on workstation hygiene (clean desk policy) and digital security (system locking).
Inspect employee mobile devices, including messaging apps (WhatsApp) and SMS, using specific keywords to detect unauthorized data transfers or external email usage.
Review financial transactions on employee devices to identify any improper dealings between staff, outsourced personnel, or customers.
Access and audit sensitive zones, including server rooms, CCTV monitoring stations, and physical storage units (lockers/drawers).
Evidence Management:
Capture high-quality photographic evidence for all findings, including workstation status, unlocked systems, and relevant mobile screen captures.
Ensure all audit documentation and photos are correctly tagged and organized by employee and product line to maintain data integrity.
Obtain and document formal clarifications from employees regarding any observed irregularities or transactions.
Stakeholder Management:
Handle instances of resistance or non-cooperation firmly and professionally, utilizing official authority letters to gain necessary access.
Communicate audit findings and observations clearly to department heads and management teams.
Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism throughout the audit lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle patterns of data manipulation or non-compliance.
Tactful Communication: Ability to conduct deep-dive interviews and mobile device inspections in a professional, respectful, yet firm manner.
Operational Discipline: Strong adherence to formal dress codes and professional conduct during all site visits.
Technical Proficiency: Comfort navigating mobile device settings and messaging interfaces to perform keyword searches and verify transaction logs.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy standards and internal control frameworks within the banking and financial services sector.
Working Conditions
This role requires frequent travel to various CPC locations.
